If you have an animal print you know you like or even have not found one yet you can just search around till you find one. The great thing about animal prints is that there are so many!
Decorating a room using animal prints is best to start with the bedding; sheets, comforters, even pillow cases. You can go as far as lamp shades, curtain drapes, rugs, table dollies, even stencil or wall paper trimming. It’s always best to stick with one print, choosing more will only make the room clash and look busy. To really bring out the print, don’t just use traditional cotton on surface layers. Find fabrics that are fuzzy and stick out. If it feels good even use what would be similar to the animal’s real feel. Velvet is a great fabric to work with, it’s durable and they make just about any solid color or pattern print you can think of. It also has the soft but funky feel. You should paint your room in sky blue or kaki color, to bring out the print more. Use the wall space to brake up the patterns throughout your room and making the room bring out your animal prints. Ivory is the best color to use when using paper trimming or stencils. Stencils can be fun because you can always make them yourself. To top off the room, put animal posters up or even stuffed animals
with the print you pick. It makes the room come to life, with outside
natural life coming in.
